MIM is part of Canaimas product suite of engineering and presentation tools for network operators. MIM allows a network operator to present network coverage and operational information on its web site.

The system consists of a web based GIS where data is presented, and a back-end server that provides up-to-date network information. The back-end server interfaces to planning and fault handling systems to automatically calculate coverage and operational maps without manual intervention.

MIM is fully compatible with regulatory requirements in Sweden to present operational information, the "GLU" project, including relaying operational information to co-operating operators, government bodies and emergency services.

MIM features seamless coverage maps across country border, support for mobile, data and fixed services, current and planned coverage and operational status, search functionality on street addresses and/or administrative regions.

Other functionality

• Points of interest(POI), show locations(stores etc).
• SLA POIs, view current outage state and historical changes for a POI.
• View location of sites and sectors for all technologies and bands.
• View planned sites (also terminated ones).
• View Site/RBS/Cell information.
• View ticket & alarm information for disturbances/outages.
• Best servers, get a list of the six best covering cells in a point for each technology and band.
• Also supports other search functionalty like network elements and coordinates.
