Canaimas Neighbor Management concept is in operation with two Swedish operators. NMT automatically calculates 3G-3G and 3G-2G neighbor definitions and downloads into the system. Read more about NMT here.

For Swedish regulatory body, Canaima has developed a postprocessing tool to evaluate whether the 3G operators fulfill their coverage requirements. Metan (Measurement Evaluation Tool for Agilent Nitro) interfaces to the Nitro Measurement System and evaluates and presents measurements on a map in real time as data is being collected.

Canaimas coverages statistics tool allows area or population coverage to be calculated and reported on a per region basis, such as muncipality or postal code. Service thresholds can be set up by region or by clutter. Results can be viewed as tables or exported to MapInfo format. Read more here.

Sonofon - Location Based Billing Provisioning System

Danish operator Sonofon offers a "home zone" product to their customers, which gives the subscriber a lower tariff in a restricted geographical area. Sonofon choose Canaimas Zone Administration Tool  as the  provisioning system for their service. The Zone Administration Tool sets up and maintains a list of "home" cells for each subscriber, and lets all Customer support personnel geographically change and visualize the list of cells.

Tele2 - Coverage Maps

The generation of coverage maps used to be a tedious process with Swedish GSM Operator Tele 2. With Canaimas Network Information Server / NMTWEB , up to date coverage maps on Tele 2' s web site is just a few mouseclicks away. Now with 2G, 3G and combined 2G/3G coverage.

Sonofon - Fixed Wireless Access Service

Danish Mobile operator Sonofon was awarded a license to operate Fixed Wireless Access Services in the summer of 2001. Canaima has provided Sonofon with a system that from a postal address evaluates if or when FWA services are available to the potential subscriber. The evaluation utilizes high resolution 3D geographical data to do  a Line Of Sight Analysis and also determines the most suitable base station to connect to. This information is available directly to Sonofons work management tool via a TCP/IP interface.

Allgon - Web Based Antenna Simulator

For Antenna Manufacturer Allgon, later acquired by Powerwave, Canaima has developed an antenna simulation tool. The tool is used by the Technical Sales organisation at Allgon to demonstrate and compare the performance of different antenna types and Tower Mounted Amplifiers. The tool is also publicly available at Allgons web site.
